Hello! We are a newly formed entertainment company working to create the next female superhero. This project is being spearheaded by a group of women who are creating this super character and her story through the female gaze. We have completed the story line and narrative, and are currently working on the script. We have hired an illustrator through the process of character development, and are now looking for someone to pass the baton to who can block out panels and do the pencil drawings of each scene for the comic book itself. The style of illustration we are looking for is something of a cross section between Babs Starr, Dan Parent, and Emanuela Lupacchino. Think SuperGirl meets Archie, meets My Little Pony. Essentially, simple images that pop. Eventually we will be looking for someone to do inks, coloring, and lettering as well. If you have any interest in doing any of the above and think your work could match the style of illustration we are looking for, please send us some samples of your work and a little bit about yourself. It would also be helpful if you could include any past comic book creation experience and time tables for completion of work.
