Question 1: Develop a web site that calculates an employee’s earnings, as shown in the following picture. The user should provide the hourly wage and number of hours worked per week. When the Calculate Button is clicked, it submit the data to PHP server script. And the employee’s gross earnings should display in the Gross earnings: TextBox. The Less FWT: TextBox should display the amount deducted for federal taxes and the Net earnings: TextBox should display the difference between the gross earnings and the federal tax amount. You can use the number_format to format the result. Assume that overtime is calculated for hours over 40 hours worked, overtime wages are 1.5 times the hourly wage and federal taxes are 15% of gross earnings. The Clear Button (use type='reset') should clear all input boxes. Note that the web form page does not need to be exactly the same as this picture. And you can apply some CSS styles to improve the web page appearance. Question 2: Develop a website that determines whether a department-store customer has exceeded the credit limit on a charge account. Each customer enters an account number, a balance at the beginning of the month, the total of all items charged this month, the total of all credits applied to the customer’s account this month, and the customer’s allowed credit limit. The web page should input each of these facts, and the PHP server script calculate the new balance (= beginning balance – credits + charges), display the new balance and determine whether the new balance exceeds the customer’s credit limit. If the customer’s credit limit is exceeded, display a message (in messageLabel at the bottom of the Form) informing the customer of this fact; otherwise, display the customer’s remaining credit amount. If the user presses the Clear Fields Button (use type='reset'), the app should clear the TextBoxes and Labels. Question 3: Develop a website that calculates a salesperson’s commission from the number of items sold. Assume that all items have a fixed price of $10 per unit. Use a switch statement to implement the following sales- commission schedule: A. Up to 50 items sold = 6% commission B. Between 51 and 100 items sold = 7% commission C. Between 101 and 150 items sold = 8% commission D. More than 150 items sold = 9% commission Create a web page that inputs the number of items sold and contains a Calculate Button. When this Button is clicked, the request is sent to the PHP server section that should call three methods should be called - one to calculate gross sales, one to calculate the commission percentage based on the commission schedule above and one to calculate the salesperson’s earnings. Earnings are defined as gross sales multiplied by commission percentage, divided by 100 (because we’re working with a percentage value). The data returned by these three methods should be displayed in the result page.
