Hello!
I have to ask you: Pokemon Go's mechanics are quite confusing, right? Personally, it took me a while to understand that the XL\XS notation stood for the Pokémon's best stats. For example, I noticed a pokémon with an XL weight was sturdier and recieved less damage than a regular weight Pokemon. I tested it a few times against local gyms, and it gave an interesting advantage to the Pokemon I used in battle. Plus, with the introduction of IVs (Individual Values) to the game, I predict that lot of people will be even more confused now than when they tried to understand how the radar worked - with and without steps.
I think we can work together on a detailed guide on the available mechanics, and spread accurate informations have more fun with the app! Plus, it would be a good oportunity to have an interesting discussion on which mechanics are more efficient. Did you find other mechanics that might be helpful for trainers out there?
That way we can start by explaining the basics (how to navigate the game, how to harvest experience and candies faster, how to hatch eggs, and fighting mechanics), and include a solid in-depth section on more complex mechanics for those who wish to play competitively.
With a good research on the topic, your guide will be ready in less than a week.
Let me know your thoughts on this outline!
I'm available to discuss this project anytime.
My best regards,
Inês V.
