Hi! You cannot arbitrarily add to excel toolbars/actions. You need to develop an add-on for excel to do that, which is clearly way out your budger you have chosen. So the option is to use USer defined function (VBA code) to do that cleanup on the selected range of cells. It's not clear neither from your brief nor from the word document whether you are targeting only leading and trailing 'blank' characters or from any position, including within the text itself, not just the very beginning and end, so please clarify on that. Also elaborate further on whether do you want to be able to pass to the function which characters to target or if it will always target all 'non printable' characters that are present at the given positions witin the string contents.
