Calendar template

I am trying to build a dynamic and constantly editable “acquisition integration calendar” related to a list of tasks (or “plays”), with due dates, by business function. Needs: 1. See the attached template: a. The tasks are listed in the “All Plays” tab; this is where we will input information such as new tasks, edit tasks, add owner names, and change due dates based on the project that we are undertaking b. The goal is to create an automated bar calendar with corresponding due date bar coloring based on the inputted due date from the All Plays tab; tasks need to be grouped into [“Function” – “Sub Function”] sections; see the Calendar tab for the format and groupings I’m looking for. The black bar on the Calendar tab is the transaction close date, so the phases that are pre-close (negative due dates) are to the left of the close line, the post-close to the right 2. Chronological: within each Function-SubFucntion we need to sort from shortest due date to longest a. First are the pre-close functions, with the furthest from close (e.g. the largest negative Due Date number) shown first b. Then the shortest post-close functions, with the shortest from close (e.g. the smallest positive Due Date number) shown first (after the pre-close)…see the “Finance-Risk Management” category on the Calendar tab on the template attached as an example 3. Simple as possible macros (or even better, formulas, though I know that may not be possible): I know enough VBA to edit, just not create what I want here! 4. Dynamic: we will be adding tasks (adding rows to the All Plays listing), functions/sub-functions, changing due dates, and changing Owner names based on the project we are planning for, so this model has to be dynamic 5. Refreshable: we need to be able to refresh the Calendar tab for changes made to the inputs on the All Plays tab
