ACH (Automated Clearing House) payments are a type of Electronic Funds Transfer. It is like an electronic check. In the USA the Federal government and every State government allows businesses to make tax, child support, and other types of payments using ACH. I need someone to spend 10 hours per week gathering and updating information for all types of payments that each state will accept by ACH. As a minimum this includes taxes and child support payments. There may also be insurance and other payments as well. This task is straight forward and requires little more than good web searching skills to get started. You will go to the web sites for every state in USA and collect the following items of information for every type of payment that state's government will accept via ACH: Bank Name Bank Account Number Bank Routing Number (also called ABA) Tax Type Code Tax Form Name ACH Addenda Record #7 format documentation. The Addenda Record #7 format documentation is easy to locate and contains any special formatting requirements for the ACH Addenda Record #7. This is easy to find and contains the fields TXP 01 through TXP 10 or so. The person doing this work must be highly organized and methodical. This person will be good and searching (data mining) web sites for the needed information. When the information is not available they will request the necessary information from contacts specified on each State's web site. You will be provided with an email address and a fax number that you are to use to request and gather this information. You must capture the original documentation via the web site, pdf files, fax images, etc. and then store this information on our web site (it uses wiki technology). It will be expected that you get through every state and every form within a 6 month period of time and then you start again. Each time, you will capture a snapshot of anything new, updated, or deleted. This information is publically available, but it exists all together in very few places. Therefore, I will expect that you sign agreement that you will not offer similiar services to anyone else or provide anyone with this information directly or in any derivitive form.
