Vista gadget for podcast, webcast, and blog posts

I want a VISTA gadget developed. It will serve multiple purposes and will allow a user to select various notifications and turn off ones in which they are not interested. 1) Provide notification of new activity on a blog (hosted by Typepad) 2) Show a calendar of upcoming webcasts, podcasts and/or personal appearances and provide an iCal builder as well as an internal alarm system. 3) Indicate the posting of a new podcast and provide a method for a user to "click and listen" and also "click and subscribe". This memo is intended to be a GENERAL outline and I will want to work with you to develop a more specific spec. I do not know the right questions to ask nor am I fully aware of the capabilities and limitations of gadgets.
