Please send instructions on how to create Chart 1 and 2.
Issue Summary:
--------------
Chart 1 and 2 below rely on many Access 2002 queries.
I would like to simplify this and not re-do many of the queries we currently have by using a shortcut.
I am hoping to use 2 queries: One with many rows of: Site, MD, Patient - that match the criteria: White
And the other query with the same fields that show all patients.
Note: The most flexible solution would use similar data for both charts.
But chart 2 most likely will need a 3rd query, like Query 1, I am thinking with criteria: Black
Unless you had Query one with Type: Black or White but that would limit you to a patient only having one type.
I can use Visual Studio [login to view URL] and C# but don't want to use custom coding, just Crystal Reports and queries.
Question 1: What is the best way in Crystal Reports XI R2 to make Chart 1 from the 2 queries below or something close?
Question 2: What is the best way in Crystal Reports XI R2 to make Chart 2 from 2+ queries below or something close?
Example Query 1: All patients that match criteria: White
Site MD Patient
------------------
1 11 111
1 22 222
2 11 333
2 22 444
...
Example Query 2: All patients (notice extra rows)
Site MD Patient
------------------
1 11 111
1 22 222
1 33 333
2 11 444
2 22 555
3 11 666
...
Chart description:
------------------
There are many MD's per Site and many Patients per MD
To calculate the MD percentage, you count patients that match & divide by total # of that MD's patients.
To calculate the Site percentage, you count patients that match & divide by total # of that Sites patients.
To calculate All Sites percentage, you count patients that match & divide by total # of All Sites patients.
