This is a test project transcribing 5 audio interviews of 1 hour in duration each between the interviewer and different interviewees. The successful person will - provide turnaround of the job in 3 days - have a good understanding of the New Zealand accent - be a highly accurate transcriber - provide excellent communication about progress of the job to the contractor - use British English spelling and correct spelling for Maori and NZ place names - provide faultless text formatting for ease of reading If the test project is completed to a high standard, there is the possibility for another 25-30 1 hour interviews over the next month.

I would like to be considered for your audio transcription project. I have 25 years experience in transcription and data entry in an academic environment. I type 100 wpm, am accurate, detail oriented, reliable and hardworking. My bid is for $200 and I could complete the project in 3 days. I am also able to create text files using a stenograph machine and translation software to complete projects more quickly than traditional transcription. I have transcribed the entire series of the New Zealand show Sensing Murder to practice so I am very familiar with this accent. I hope you will consider my bid. Thank you.

I have transcribed over 72 hours of audio to word. The interviews were done with an Australian so I am versed with the accents from Australasia. I have completed the US and UK English exams. I have Adobe Soundbooth to assist with the trascription and work very quickly. I have proof read dozens of books so my work will be clean. I am an excellent communicator and deadline driven.
