clubs content management portal.

I have a requirement to set up a “clubs” content management portal. e.g my chess club, my stamp club etc… The site must allow for multiple clubs to be created and managed by separate individuals. Software requirement is the backend must be mysql but open to front end / middle tier tools. Or Templates. The clubs will be geographically based for which the club owner will supply an address. I have already the code to integrate this into google maps. New users can come to the portal and look for clubs in their area. Subscribe to a club or set up their own. The clubs are then run as individual CMS areas with blogging, Forums, news, comments , post content, pictures, video etc, and most importantly events sections: The events must allow for club members to subscribe / register onto the event. i.e. if it’s a trip to the seaside then they can state their intent to attend this event. As the event may be limited in numbers. The attendance listing must show in first come, first served order. With an approval status. For example if they’ve paid up, or are on the standby list. So it needs to include event management capability. Post event updates must also be allowed. i.e. here are the photo’s of our recent trip to xyz. The CMS area for the club must be configurable by the club owner or designated members who will have admin privileges. Covering: News Section: editable by club owner / admin ( to include photo video sharing) Forum Section: administered by club owner Blog section: editable by club owner / admin Chat Section Comments section Subscribe to email newsletter Active Club members also have their own personal blogging space within the club that they can share with nominated other club members (with option to share with all active club members, all club members, including guests.) and elect to share to the public if the club is a publicly open club. These areas to also include Photo sharing and video sharing. Comments section Admin / Site owner can edit all content (including members subsection) Users fall into various categories: Club owner, admins and normal users and public viewers. If the site has restricted membership then people can apply to join the club but must get admin, club owner approval. Otherwise non restricted sites allow normal users as guest. Status.. which allows them to post comments only until they get approved as an active member by the club owner /admin. They can’t for example see the individual personal blogs. Once approved as an active user they can then do any full cms function, The above is the framework for how I need the portal to operate once we start getting into the detail you’ll need to factor in some changes and adjustments. You will also need to provider handover of the site to me to include documentation, technical documentation and setup instructions. Above all the club portal MUST be easy for users to use.
