Copy Database SQL 2000 - 2009

I need a MS SQL Wizard for a few minutes - to copy a MS SQL 2000 database to a 2008. We are switching to a new server with 2008. I have created database in the 2008 and try to do the copy command and I get an error - so assuming I set something up wrong. I have tables and stored procedures that all need to come over - I tried just importing the tables under import and that worked fine - but I also need the stored procedures so assume we have to do the copy command.
