Hello! I am currently looking for a developer with Magento and Linux skills. For a long term relation I am looking for a developer with also great Magento skills. For now I would like to be able to create a script for linux (which I can run by using a command-line) which converts a productfeed TXT to XML and also make some small changes in the new XML like adjusting a few fields (like the producturl). I have no experience with Magento, but I specialize in converting formats like this. I can easily change that TXT to XML under Linux, Windows or your preferred OS. I can do it in PHP, C, .NET or other language you prefer. I also have a lot of experience under Linux environments which I'm sure will come in handy in your specific case.
