Changing Social Network Software - Tranferring data

Hi, I currently run a social networking site with nearly 7000 members. It currently runs off of joovili software and I would like to use vbulletin/vbadvanced instead. I need someone that can transfer all the data (user info, forums, member pictures) from the old database/software onto the new database/software. Transferring the user and forum data across shouldnt be that difficult allthough obviously the new database uses different tables etc. Transferring the pictures will be more difficult as currently the pictures are stored in a folder on the server and on the new software ( vbulletin ) all pictures are stored within the database as binary strings. I guess you will need to execute a select query on the old database then loop through all results and insert them into the new database. The trick is, you will need to read each image (found within the select at the given filesystem path) into a binary string and then insert that string into the corresponding field within the new db. On the new site I would like each user to keep there main picture but all aditional pictures can by stored in say a gallery called 'Main Gallery' on the corrasponding users account.
