This should be pretty easy for an experience java database programmer.
I've got sql scripts to create approx 20 tables.
They were exported from an sql anywhere database.
I want you to create an IBM Java Cloudscape database based on these scripts. and load the data (no table contains more then 50 rows).
You can find out about cloudscape database at:
There's 2 ways to create the database. You could modify the scripts so it's compliant with Cloudscape and use Cloudscape's scripting engine. Or you could place statements in Java files and execute it. I'll need the source for whichever method you use.
There may be a few minor changes like I want to use the AutoIncrement feature. IBM requires that the datatype is INTEGER. In the sql they're currently defined as decimal(16,0). so you'd need to make that change.
I've attached just a couple of sql scripts so you can see what I have...
We would would start converting and loading just 5 tables as a test. After that we could set up a larger test.
If you're interested I need you to leave your COST and TIME estimate.
All your work must be tested before delivery.
Thanks,
Mark
