Let's say I have a table: one of the columns stores SSNs, another stores names, and there are some others. I need a query to return unique SSNs, along with a name. I tried to do this, but the names are usually entered a little differently each time I couldn't just use DISTINCT. Either show one of the names associated with that SSN, or show them all (seperated by commas). Also, I need to be able to take a column of SSNs that were entered in different ways (555-55-5555 or 555555555 or *555-555555, etc) and apply maybe the first format to them all so that the unique ones are truly unique.
