Access to SQL conversion

I've recently converted an access database to SQL server and am finding that some of my code doesn't want to work with SQL. The biggest problem has been when added records to two tables, I can't seem to get the right id number added to the second table to reference the right record in the first. The other problem I'm having is trying to find a beginner website that will explain the different datatypes to me. My zip code field is int but that's not going to work because it's omitting the leading zeros from the zip codes that need them. ## Deliverables Basiclly I'm just looking for a mentor of sorts to help me understand some of the differences that I'm running into between Access and SQL Server. Some entry level tutorials would be helpful to, but everything I'm finding is assuming I know more than I do. ## Platform SQL Server 2000 running on Win2K
