Direct Show Streaming Component

Write a custom Direct Show (v 9.0c) filter for sending audio and video streams to RTP, RTSP, and SDP clients. This would include but not limited to Helix server, Quick Time, Windows Media, and Real clients. The Direct Show filter must accept and stream the following types of input formats: Audio: AAC, AMR, MP2, MP3 Video: H.264, MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, 3GP, 3G2 The Direct Show filter must provide a property page to save out the sdp file as well as the ability to set the sdp filename through an API. The solution must be able to maintain audio and video sync over an extended period of time under 24/7 operations. The filter must be free of memory leaks and other failures including exceptions. The solution will also provide a simple console application that allows the user to set all of the properties on the filter that can be used to verify and test the filter. The live555 library can be used in the solution. The project must be written in C++ using the Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 (version 8.0) compiler. Assembly code should not be used. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows XP Pro, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista.
