Hi, The project is indeed interesting and challenging. I must first understand that the automated conveyor belt system will run with in a building or a floor ? Secondly we must discuss about the architecture drawn in the file attached. It should have a microprocessor and IC inserted to receive instructions. I would recommend C++ or C technology to go ahead with Artificial intelligence. As you know that this would be a research and development system thus, estimating time and cost would be a cumbersome job. Lets have a discussion with the whole team.
