Corporate Financial Website - CMS

Assignment: Development of a Corporate Financial Website built on Word Press or other CMS Company: We are a “start-up” company operating in the investment arena. We are based in Goa, India. Description of Project: Its an advantage but not a must if you have been involved in building platforms/solutions for Mutual Funds, Hedge funds or similar before. It will also be an advantage if you have access to high quality royalty-free photos and videos of the financial district in Mumbai and other Indian metropolitans, inside outside BSE/NSE, etc. We need a professional and flexible corporate website. Preferably the site should be built on Word Press or other powerful and user friendly open source Content Management System (CMS). The site should be widget and plug-in compatible and it should be easy for the user to add pages and new content without affecting the layout of the site. The site must be multi browser/platform compatible. Another function we want is logotype/image visibility in the address bar and the browser tabs. We also want some basic SEO work. We are looking for a person who can work with us on long time basis as our Webmaster/IT person. Therefore the outcome and success of this first project together is vital for the scope of our long-time cooperation. Project 1: Design a corporate website based on Word Press CMS. The site should not have the normal/obvious “blog” look as all other available themes on the net but merely the CMS should run in the background for easy CMS functionality and user input. Basic pages (home, about, product, contact, etc) with a clean and classic design. Part of the site should contain relevant financial news. Should “legally” grab financial news from some news portal and present financial graphs of NSE and BSE and daily currency rates (INR, USD, EUR). One should focus on building a robust and flexible framework so that the user could easily add pages, images, video and other contents once the framework has been established. The site should have a “secure” login function for customers taking the user to a "unique" page where they can check their investments and the current value of their investment portfolio. Presentation should be highly graphical and impressive, with colourful graphs, etc. Some kind of interface where we can easliy feed the date that will be the source for the data presented to the customers. A secure login area for our sales agents where they have an overview of all their customers and the customer’s investments and access to different sales tools (power point presentations, promo videos, etc). The agents should also have an overview of their own investments. Each sales agent should only see his own customers. However “Super Agents” responsible for an area should also be able to see his “sub agents” and the sub agents customers. Agents should also be able see outstanding commissions from us and date for payout. Some kind of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system integrated with the CMS system is required, for the following functionality: Function where the agents and the company can register customers/members in a customer database Function where customers can add and change information in their profile Function for customer back office support where we can handle customer queries. Message should go to from customer to responsible sales agent with copy to company. Message from sub agents to super agents and super agents to company. It is important to plan for possible future requirements from the beginning so that it will be easy to ad functionality and growth without having to rebuild the system. Deadline: March 20th, 2010 Project 2: Building an internal buy/sell trading platform within the customer secure section where customers, agents and the company can trade internal shares. E-mail/message functionality inside secure area. System should be simple put yet powerful to ad customer/partner value. Deadline: will be mutually decided Project 3: Ongoing updates, server maintenance, security issues, making promo videos, website administration and all other company related IT matters. As we are a new company cost for the first 2 projects should be nominal but our company is scheduled to grow rapidly and for the right and loyal person a long time cooperation with our company will be highly rewarding in every way.
