Create Product Files using Excel Templates

Excel Data Entry We need someone to take product information from excel files, word documents and other websites provided by manufacturers and copy and paste the information into excel templates we have created in order to get them in the format we need to load them on our website. We have taken all of the code and broken it in to pieces so that we can apply styles and other code to the information and then concatenate to get the resulting completed field. A great deal of the code is fill down. The templates are extremely self explanatory to someone who is familiar with excel. There are templates for the products and in some cases the options applicable to the products such as colors, sizes, shipping rates and similar characteristics. Copywriting and Proofreading The product names provided by the wholesalers are often not very good from SEO perspective. We like to rename products in some cases to be more SEO friendly. Directions for when and how to do are provided in the templates. The product descriptions provided by the manufacturers often have typos and are very poorly written. We like to re-write the copy to improve the quality and also to avoid duplicate content issues with competitor’s site. Categorization Choose the categories such as “flowers” that are applicable to the product from a list we provide. Also need to choose the options either from the lists you created or from the master list we provide. SEO You will be selecting keywords based on each product. We have provided instructions to make this easy so just understanding some basic concepts regarding how people search online will be adequate. WORK FLOW The work peaks in preparation of holidays. There is some ongoing work most weeks. PAYMENT By product completed in proper format or an hourly rate for high productivity REQUIREMENTS The person who bids on this project has to be able to read the directions and handle the work on their own. We can answer a few questions or clarify our but otherwise we do not have time to hold hands. Please do not bid on this project if you do not know Excel or understand terms like fill down or concatenate. Some very basic HTML knowledge would be helpful but not necessary. Templates mentioned will be provided to the bidders. We can also provide the training materials from our website provider for more background materials.
