Fix when website when trying to update plugins, etc, Also issue with uploading images. Forbidden You don't have permission to access this resource. Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Hosting said I understand that you are recently experiencing error while uploading new images/plugins which says > Upload failed. Please try again. I was able to replicate the error on my end. Upon checking, I found the J query migrate plugin has to be enabled to ensure the WordPress features are compatible with newer updates. jQuery Migrate is a library that acts as a bridge for older code to function on WordPress. The upload function shows the message " crunching" for new uploads now. This message can show up due to many reasons, the file permissions, issue with the wp-posts tables or the database error. I have scanned and repaired the WP core files and ensured the website files are clean as well. If there were any recent changes/updates made to any of the contents, it is best to try reverting them to avert the issue or you can try adjusting the settings for the error as discussed in below provided forum articles: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] I have ensured the file permissions are right, there are no infected contents causing the issue, uploads folder is set up correctly and the wp-posts has the Primary key set up. I'm afraid, this does look like coming due to conflict with one of the active contents on the website. Hi, The "Enable jQuery Migrate Helper" plugin is needed if you have an outdated custom theme or plugin installed. Do you have any? What type of hosting you are using (dedicated server/VPS/shared hosting)? Did you migrate this content from another domain? The issue you are facing seems about the "recursive file permission" mostly. But it might be related to some settings or conflicts between Plugins. I can debug and resolve the issue. I will create a backup, and then I will troubleshoot it on local and then implement the solution to the live site after successfully resolving and reproducing it on the local server.
