IIS update - need help ASAP!

Server is Win 2008 R2. Dedicated Server. My IIS is partially working. It is not serving *.axd (required for ajax control toolkit) *.asmx files. I have had this issue before, on my previous server. The previous person that fixed this for me, wrote these directions: Enable framework 4.0 Open IIS Manager - Explode S15876899 on the left - Click Application Pools - select application pool you want to apply framework4.0, for our case I used (plesk)default(2.0)(pool) - click advanced settings from action panel on the right - change .net framework to version 4.0 - assign application pool to website that needs to use framework 4.0 - now you will be able to enable dotnet 4.0 framework from plesk control panel. no need to configure anything in iis. - from plesk you just need to allow [asp.net][1] execution (even if it will report framework 2.0 as plesk is not updated for 4.0, but we forced it from iis directly) allow website to use php - there was a misconfigured file handler in iis. now recreated. - now you will be able to enable php execution from plesk control panel. no need to configure anything in iis I need this fixed ASAP.
