Please find below (I have tried to set the project in to text) I am in a need of a easy made page around auctions, we do a in person event every year and now the need to do a hybrid event… We don’t care what the pages is running on, as long as we can host it on a normal webhoster. We will manage the hosting platform. So you would need to tell us what platform you want it to be able to run on. The user of the platform should be able to use any web browser to be able to connect and login and make the bids. (All users will get a info mail from us, so they will not be able to create their on account If you want a inspiration you can see a page like the one I have in mind… [login to view URL] Database Should be able to store the following User: Username (e-mail) Password When last updated/created Catalog AuctionNO HorseNumber Name Year Sex Father Mother MothersFather Breeder Seller Description Picture/Pictures Login page User should be able to login in with a stored username (e-mail address) and a stored password Catalog page Should be sorted per AuctionNumber and list all the names in HorseNumber order Show in a list HorseNumber Name Year Sex Father Mother MothersFather, Price Click link should go to the Horse page The page should be able to auto update, as when the auctions runs, and one horse is sold that should. (When the auction is running, we need to be able to have an area on top of the Catalog page where the bidding is running, and should be auto updated. Should say the current horse bided. HorseNumber Name The highest bid Father Mother Year The user should be able to make a bid and press okey and the bid is stored in the database, and Showed as the highest bid (the database should store a log of all bids and the users info, Name and the bided amount as per bid.) The bid page also needs to check so when pressing the bid that the price is the highest and no one else has already made a bid on the same price, if so, the page should say bid already done, make a higher one. Hallå We have checked the horse bidding platform called. [login to view URL] The horse catalog will be created from the back end admin panel. We will even provide you the option of bulk upload through CSV uploading. In the front end there will be a catalog page where all the records will be listed. When clicked on any of the names, the corresponding details page will be opened where one can place a bid. Presently there is no open auction and hence couldn't find the next steps. but the page will get replaced with every new bid or if any update in status. On the top left we will show the current bids with horse names with their current highest bid. There will be regular check for highest amount so that any bidder will be intimated if any same amount will be bid. From the back end, there will be Auction Management, Bid Management and User Management. The algorithm will check the highest bid continuously. When the bid time will be over, the winner will be declared automatically and intimated. The admin panel will have all details as record. The bidders will have to register with all relevant information. Any change in login credential will be stored into the database with a timestamp. We would like to suggest CodeIgniter/Laravel/PHP with Object Oriented approach along with MYSQLi as the technologies to build the website. I have read the requirements and am confident of delivering well. I have developed several such functionalities (not really auction). So a user logs in, selects an auction number, horse number and bids? Will there be more than one open auction at any point of time? Will you be "opening" and "closing" an auction or time will be predefined when creating an auction and will automatically run accordingly? What exactly do you mean by: "we do a in person event every year and now the need to do a hybrid event…" In reference site, closed auctions, bidding history etc. is shown - you also want this feature? Only one auctions's details are listed at a time? Reference site has a form to "become a bidder" - you also need this? Which language do you want the site in? The informative pages - about, how it works etc. - I will need contents, images and logo. I will need hosting server access. I will need contents in all languages that you need. I understand that site admin will enter all horse details - this will also have to be entered in each language. Complete details (it will help if we can chat) will enable me to determine the best way forward (reference site is in Wordpress and I can develop both in Wordpress or custom PHP). It will also help me to assess scope of work precisely and also make an informed commitment. I ensure a very thorough job and also support if you need changes / enhancements in future.
