For a young webtech start-up in its final technical development phase, we are looking for a developer that can bring the created magic to the web, together with its founders. Company description: Map Nomad is a cartography company that enables online visitors to create artworks from a geographic area of their choice. After customizing the design to their liking and placing an order, the customer receives the printed and packed product his doorstep. The styling rules transforming geographical data into art are developed in-house and some with known artists. Currently, we have reached the point where our back-end systems and the online customization tools are nearly finished. As such, we are now in search of a front-end developer/designer. To this end, we aim to finalize our brand-image and marketing strategy. The front-end of our website needs to be developed, including: company image, landing pages and product catalog. Required knowledge/expertise HTML / CSS following modern web standards (e.g. css grids, flexbox) Graphical design (e.g. with Adobe Illustrator) Ideal profile: Experienced front-end web developer/designer Creatively minded 10-20hrs/week availability Team composition: The team consists of two persons. Kurt has a focus on the technical aspects of the venture whereas Michiel is focusing more on content and economics. Timeline: To be discussed.
