Affiliate Marketing Website Built plus on-going SEO

PROJECT REMIT Introduction I am looking to work with someone on a long term basis (my Web Buddy). The objective is to build and optimise a number of Affiliate Marketing websites. These are to be built on the WordPress platform. Objectives My objectives are: 1. Escape from regular employment 2. Freedom to live where I chose These objectives are to be partly achieved from income generated from Affiliate Marketing work. A Bit about Me I have worked in Sales & Marketing most of my life. This was mostly business to business. It included writing complicated proposal documents and preparing PowerPoint presentations. I am a naturally innovative and a creative writer. I did the conceptual design work for the replacement of the website at my previous employer. I also have some experience in designing company brochures, fliers etc. Outline of Proposition Stage 1: Web Buddy (WB) will build a website (No. 1) using materials provided by/through Ian. Ian will provide a “first cut” draft using one of the standard WordPress themes. WB to then use their experience to design a quality site. Ian will provide the domain address and hosting. Ian will also pay for any special template themes that are agreed. WB to load onto domain. Ian will pay WB a previously agreed fee when the website tests ok. Stage 2: WB starts an on-going SEO campaign for website No.1. This to include a monthly performance report in an agreed format. WB also does any website maintenance required. Ian will make available to WB his account with Search Engine Blaster. The income generated is to be collected into a Pay Pal account. All income is shared between Ian and WB. Stage 3: Stages 1&2 repeat for subsequent websites. My current plan is to add one new website to the portfolio each month for a year. Proposals for the second year will depend on performance. Outline of Website Features This is a project that I started looking at a few years ago, but because of some domestic issues, I had to postpone any further plans until now. At the time I got a proposal from a local web builder to build one 10 page website. The scope he proposed was as follows: Design a template and add a menu system to include the following components: 1. Fixed header and footer to hold pages and fixed information 2. Header image with scroller (possible half width with promotional text on one side) 3. Mega menu to link to all sub categories (one click) 4. Newsletter signup 5. Archive system 6. Social media links 7. Twitter 'Last three tweets' 8. Cookie link (EU law) 9. Supply standard business policies 10. Disclosure statement box on home page 11. Set up pages and load data from [login to view URL] pages This is provided for initial guidance. Going forward with WB, I would be expecting WB to use their skills to produce the best value for money website.
