Excel Auto Email & Task Scheduler Issue For Multiple Files

I have multiple files - that reside on my virtual machine - that have a task scheduled in which the task opens the file and then the file refreshes and the macro then is supposed to send out a number of emails - through outlook - and then close the file. This worked great for awhile but now it is only working about half the time. I need someone who is an excel automation expert to help me get these files consistently functional. I also have a few hours of other excel work a week. Ideally I would like to get this fixed in the next 24 hours
