A monitored house or commercial alarm uses a landline to communicate with the alarm monitoring station should it go off, I want to use a GSM GPRS module to communicate with the alarm monitoring station and send in pulses on a ongoing bases, and should the alarm trigger i want the software to generate an alarm back in the monitoring centre or should the signal be lost.
