I am developing a software in C++ and Qt. This software is for Mac and Windows desktop. Now I want this software to be able to download albums from an iOS device which is connected to the desktop by USB cable. But I don't have any experience related to this so I am looking for help. So what I need is this: 1. detect if an iOS device is connected to the desktop by USB cable 2. detect albums on the iOS device 3. download all pictures from a selected album to a selected folder on the desktop There are 2 ways in which you can help me to achieve this: 1. Make a simple program in C++ and Qt so I can use the code from it to integrate this functionality into my software. 2. Make a simple command line program in whichever language so I can then make my software to call this command line program in the background to perform the desired functionality. I don't mind if it requires iTunes. I would prefer if this worked on both Windows and Mac but if you can do just one of them that would be great too.
