Best app stores for Android in China: 应用宝 (by Tencent), 安智市场(one of the oldest stores for smartphone), 豌豆荚(one of the most famous stores, and merged by Alibaba 2 years ago), 百度(the equivalent of Google in China, I mean just for search engine), UC(a famous browser app).
In China, almost all brands of mobile phone have their own app stores, though some of them use the same third-party app sources (which are usually bigger than the former). There are two factors that may affect your target:
1. The market is not friendly to paid-for-download apps unless they are very useful in some aspect. Currently, most app developers monetize by ads or in-app purchase, depending on the app type.
2. Chinese users are blocked from using Google Play Store unless with VPN. As far I know, a small app store focusing on apps for small crowd allows users to install Google store apps within its app, but I don't know how it manages to do that for now.
