From your description, I understand that: You need a script to convert specifically-formatted text files into xlsx documents. The text file is formatted in a very specific way that determines which spreadsheet cell the data should be stored in. The challenge in this project is the unusual and inconsistent formatting of the text input, which may contain very long series of space characters (' ') rather than an easily-identified delimiter. I mentioned before that I can deliver this immediately. In fact, this was interesting enough that I wrote the script, just as a challenge. The only difference is that it currently outputs the records as a CSV file, not xlsx; I would like to discuss if xlsx is actually necessary since it means non-native library imports. So, if you are interested in hiring me, your script is ready.
