Hi, I worked on one of your past spatial projects "R-script to do spatial-merging", and can work on a similar fully commented R or Python script to perform this task too. It sounds like you need to intersect and merge the two files into one, which contains all of the borders from both? That should be possible, some difficulties may be where the overlapping borders do not match exactly, but I'll be able to find a way to resolve that, no problem. Kind regards, Shaun
