This website will have the following features; There will be ? a list of professions,on the homepage, clicking on any of these professions takes you to a chatroom, where the topic of conversation is whatever profession you have chosen, for example IT. Inside the chatroom you can chat in the main room or private chat, private chat is only allowed between friends. if you are in the chatroom and chating to smeone, then you decide you want to be their friend, you click on their name and an invitation is sent. each user would have their own profile, your profile should be able to detect where you are, for example if i am at home right now, it should say your are at home, with an option, for me to chnage it, if i dont want people to see that. it needs to detect your geographic location. your profile will allow status updates. - Another feature is a feature where new content is gathered from around the blogsphere, and websites, and brough in to one place and presented in a usable way. for example in would search all blogs for content relevant to it, and the bring it to the website, this would be included in the IT section, and the same would be done with other professions. it could be presented in the form of a book allowing you to click through pages, just like a normal book, and it will allow you to comment on an article. When material is found, content that contains videos are taken out, and you can go through the videos. it would allow you to flick through dozens of videos, and select which one you want to watch depending on which profession your are at. if you update your twitter page it will say on your profile page, that you just posed this"i am reading a book". ## Deliverables this could work like an ipod touch, where you can move your finger, and pictures will move up or down, of course this is not for a touch screen device, and that was just an example. When you are chatting to a user, and he is already your friend, you can edit and modify documents at the same time, different file formats, txt, doc, excel. powerpoint. a feature called note - when you are editing and modifying documents, you should have a piece of paper infront of you, where you can take notes, with the option to save it. Links - each user can post links, links submitted will have the url, a brief description, and will allow users to read the full article or watch video. users need to be registered to use the site you can use your own picture or avators as display pictures whn chating It all needs to be created from scracth
