Inventory Automation - Integrate Multiple Point of Sale Systems' via Direct Integration, API, Webhooks, FTP & CSV Import Server

Inventory Automation Solutions: CSV JSON Script, API, Webhooks, FTP, ERP (ex: Quickbooks) The business is an on-demand delivery marketplace that shows inventory for customers to order from multiple retailers in multiple cities/states, most with differing inventory, stock and pricing. Some POS vendors have embraced the push towards open architecture and are willing to make their application programming interfaces (APIs) available to developer communities. More often than not, however, technology companies consider APIs to be high-value intellectual property, instead building custom integrations with partnering vendors. Some partner retailers do not have a Point of Sale Systems with an API to connect to directly. If they do have an API, that is our 1st method of choice to automate the inventory followed by using a ERP or Webhooks as our 2nd choice. If neither are available, the CSV uploads method is the 3rd choice that works most consistently across multiple POS systems. A lot of retailers do not having a modern Point of Sale System with an API to connect to directly. We need to automate our inventory uploads for each retailer to allow our team and partner retailers to quickly adjust inventory and focus on scaling their business. This improves customer and retailer satisfaction with always up-to-date inventory and accurate stock. With POS integrations, store menu data is pushed / pulled to the retailer’s online menu automatically. Once enabled, retailers can make changes in their POS, which will transfer to their online menu. Frequency of syncs are determined by retailer. Point of sale software is the hub of retail activity. Effective integrations allows our business and our partner retailers’ businesses to scale, save countless hours of manual entry, and provide customers with a reliable menu of options in stock. Integrated POS include key business functions such as taking inventory, as well as the means by which payments are processed. With an integrated point of service system, one does not need a separate terminal to process financial transactions for sales. The goal is to connect to each Point of Sale system through their APIs (if not available) we need to programmatically update inventory with CSV/XML push uploads sent to our FTP site every minute, hour, and/or day (depending on the POS). We can automate inventory across multiple retailers with different POS systems as long as the software can Export a CSV from the POS automatically or manually. Each store’s inventory may have different CSV export templates depending on the Point of Sale System, so we will need to “Map” our system’s data to each store’s Point of Sale.
