Fix Wordpress Theme with a New Server

Hello, I have an issue with my current theme not loading properly on Wordpress. I’ve just switched hosting servers so I require some help getting my website fully functional, operational and optimised/fast (as possible) again. I can generally handle the front end OK. I’m not so good at the back end of Wordpress (i.e. when things go wrong!) so while I am looking for some immediate help, I’m potentially looking for an impressive candidate to help build, maintain and develop my website over time. I have a lot of future work planned. More on that anon. First, my immediate issue in detail, I’ll try to be as sharp/succinct as possible, going over the steps that led me to this post. 1) I switched to Hostinger on the 9th of April, redirecting Cloudflare, etc. I uploaded a back up using All in One WP Migration. 2) Hostinger Helpdesk increased my “max_upload_filesize” and temporarily boosted my hosting plan to allow the backup file to load. 3) The website looked OK. However the ‘Fresh Builder’ wasn’t loading. My theme is ‘The Ark by Freshface’. 4) I contacted the Ark (the theme developer) and Hostinger (hosting server) for help. I did the following directives: 5) Turned off all plugins apart from theme plugins. 6) The theme developer also said that everything looked OK on his computer, so it must be an issue with my ‘hosting environment’. 7) On his suggestions, I cleared a variety of caches. 8) Downgraded to Wordpress 5.3. 9) Accessed Wordpress from a variety of browsers and laptops. One laptop briefly worked before the spinning wheel of death announced itself again. 10) The theme developer at this point seems to lose interest in my cause. His last suggestion included modifying the; .htaccess files, PHP, and also suggested changing host (!?) - (I can send more details or answer any questions on this) In conclusion; I’m dumbfounded by 9), while 10) makes me a bit uncomfortable. I’ve tried my best for help from Hostinger and the theme dev support, but it’s like getting blood from a stone! I could really do with someone who knows how to sort this. I want us to hit the following targets: 1) Get ‘Fresh Builder’ loading and visible from my laptop so I can work with my site again. 2) Help to optimise/speed up the website with the new hosting server 3) Provide a log report on steps taken so I can understand the troubleshooting issues solved. 4) Advice on whether the hosting server is appropriate for my website (I joined Hostinger on 9th or April, so I can get a refund or change to a better server before the 9th of May). Lastly, not to dangle to carrot too much, but in terms of a future relationship, I’m looking for help every quarter with things like: - Updates, maintenance, advice. - Add Photo Portfolio system (optimised) - Add Newsletter system (sync and optimisation) - Add Blog system (teach me how to use) I hope to add these slowly over time, so overall I need a “go-to-guy” for all back end of Wordpress. Because of my experiences with Hostinger and the theme developers, I am hopeful of finding a reliable, friendly and positive candidate who really understands the needs of an independent business. Someone who can really “put their arms around my shoulders” to help explain and especially fix things going forwards. I’ll happily share any guru like this across my international network too.
