Hi, I have quite a lot of experience transcoding with ffmpeg including video conversion for VOD and streaming sites. I haven't used the nvidia GPU accelerated version in a production environment before, but I've done some tests with it recently, and I am eager to try it out. (Most projects prefer the flexibility and cloud-friendliness of using the cpu) If I understand correctly the goal of this project is to set up video conversion using gpu acceleration and also to set up a video on demand (or live stream???) backend, so these can be played.
