Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like you need a chrome extension that will, on an interval of 5 minutes, refresh the page and click a button that is always in the same spot on the page. I am a Javascript developer and currently I am programming a different chrome extension, and thanks to my knowledge, I know how to do the exact things you mentioned, in the order you want them to be done. To begin, I'd only need to know the webpage, the button and the text which has to be checked (and it would be great if I could actually try it myself so I can see it on that webpage too).
