Create a WordPress Template

Hello, the job here today is basically a riddle. I want to use ajax throughout my wordpress theme, and I found a tutorial. Yet, I do not know where or what to modify on my [login to view URL] file I will not provide any wp login or password, if that is okay then bid on the project.
