Very DETAILED steps below! I'm a new freelancer here, but I've completed several similar projects at my previous workplace. How I would do the job: First I'd do a javascript based web app to map out areas and zones using google maps api. Making 2 kind of items: areas and zones, both drawn with polygons. Every area can either have an associated zone or not. - This is according to the info in the attached image, if you want to add more zones to an area, that also can be done. Save the information to database. This is for the frontend. All other processing is done in the PHP backend. TAXI coords in: if inside any of the zones then put them into the zone's FIFO queue (if not already there) (each FIFO queue can be a MySQL/Postgres/SQLite table in a database) if outside, remove from queue CUSTOMER REQ: get customor pos and find the area he/she is in. If the area has zone attached, then load oldest entry from FIFO queue and make a dispatch call to TAXI. If the answer to the dispatch is rejection, then send it to the next in queue - and do this in a loop. If no taxi accepts the call OR there is no zone attached, search for nearest taxi not in the zone's queue. Loop until the next in distance taxi accepts. I think the work will take 10 days, in the following approx. timeframes: 4 days for milestone #1 6 days for milestone #2 2 days for milestone #3 Hope to hear from you, Istvan
