Count words of uploaded PDF, DOC, DOCX, XLS files using PHP

I want a script written in PHP that will count the words of the uploaded file. The file may be DOC, DOCX, PDF, Excel file. When the file is uploaded and the words are counted, I will take over with further steps. The code must be able to be ran in a shared server. (I use cPanel)
