Collapsable sidebar and expanding text area

See the attached picture. The right sidebar needs to be made collapsable and openable via a click on say two arrows like this: >> (close/collapse) or << (open/expand). This could be done with Javascript. Then if the sidebar is collapsed, the text area in the middle expands and the text fills the right area too. The sidebar open/close should stay that way as the user navigates through each page unless the user changes it. To be awarded this gig, you must show me at least one site in which you've done similar work before and be able to complete this task in the next 2-3 hours.
