I need a cookie that forces all banner ads on our site to display from the same referrer.
example: our site [[login to view URL]][1] will have traffic sent by refering stock brokers. These brokers will use a unique link that they will place in emails so that their customers can click through and arrive at our site.
Once the visitor clicks on the brokers unique link a cookie should force ALL banner ads on our site to display only that borkers ad.
Cookie should be set for a long duration so that even if the visitor returns in 6 or 8 months he will still see only the ads from his broker.
No cookie = displays no banner ads.
All the brokers are competitors, so they will not want thier clients to see an ad from a competing broker. Each will appear as our only featured broker to their client.
I dont anticipate that many refrring brokers, so I can create the unique links for the brokers manually, execting only about 20 or so referring brokers so don't think I need any admin functions ectt. most can be done on the fly.
Suggestions are welcome.
