Social networking site for learning languages

This project is to build a social networking website (this element should look and feel a bit like a simplified version of facebook) although it is possible to have student and teacher profiles (with members having ebay still feedback attached to there profiles). The key objective of this website is to be a platform on which people of different nationalities can meet each other and teach each other languages over the internet. The website promotes teaching being conducted via one to one lessons over skype. The website should have the “look and feel?? of a social networking site like facebook although the differences are that this website has: •Student and teacher profiles •You can book lessons via the website and they are stored on hour landing page •You are reminded when you have an upcoming lesson •Once lessons have taken place you can leave feedback on each others profiles •The site tracks how much students owe teachers and allows them to confirm when payments have been made (this is similar to the payment process on ebay, on this site students pay teachers directly so the site itself does not become involved in the transfer of money between the two, but via their inputs they keep track of the status of payment). •The site keeps track of how much teachers owe the website (typically 3% of all there transactions) After reading the detailed technical specifications of this project, if you are interested in bidding but cannot commit to a particular part of the functionality then you have to make this very clear when you bid. If you do not mention this it will be assumed that you will delivery all of the requested functionality. This website should be developed using PHP and Mysql and should run off a Linux based server. If bidding for this project please provide examples other sites which you have previously coded that have a similar level of functionality (or have a similar level of complexity) to this one. The core design of the website and logo has already been done. The seven key pages that have designed can be seen within the sitemap document. For all the pages that do not have specific designs then a similar “look and feel?? should be used.
