How to Java JMX

I am looking for someone to put together a basic setup to demonstrate how to use JMX to manage our Java programs remotely. This would be the 'Hello World" of JMX. A set of server side mods to a basic java program ( see below) and a set of client side utilities that remotely manage the remote server are expected. We have a number of stand alone java programs that run on a server, and would like to use JMX to 1. start [login to view URL] [login to view URL] the config file 4. Report stats etc . One example of a java program we have 1. reads a config file on startup, 2. opens a tcp connection to a server, and then processes data coming down the TCP connection till it shuts down. You could write your own small dummy program that emulates this to show how to add instrumentation to this program to use JMX.
