Website Development With YII (v1.1.14)

The aim of this project is to create a website with the same features of sortfolio [dot] com using YII (v1.1.14). # Steps of the project 1. Analyze the original site and create a document with a list of the features you are going to implement (i.e. home page with ajax autoscroll, geographical and budget filter, collections page, shortlist feature, signup page, login, password recover, admin page, and so on). 2. Design the database structure to support all the feature described previously. 3. Describe in a document all the controllers / actions you are going to create. In the same document you have to specify the order you will follow for the implementation of the code (i.e. 1. login, 2. password recover, 3. signup page, 4. admin page, 5. home page, 6. shortlist feature, and so on) 4. Implement the code of the controllers / actions following the pre-defined order. # Additional Requirements • You MUST follow the official YII best practice and conventions. • The code MUST be fully commented, indented and coherent. • You MUST complete the previous defined step before proceeding with the development. On each step we will verify the work and provide feedback within 24 hours. • During the development phase (step 4) you MUST upload the code on our test account at least every 2 days or after the completion of a controller (which comes first). # Additional Details • All the Ajax features MUST be implemented in a single controller. • The “upgrade” page MUST be implemented as a static page with dummy content. No credit card registration is required at this stage. • The design MUST be as close as possible to the original site. • Some minor changes in the features of the site will be discussed after your bid is accepted.
