A MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) is a multi-player computer game that combines elements of role-playing games, hack and slash style computer games and social chat rooms. Typically running on an Internet server or bulletin board system, the game is usually text-driven, where players read descriptions of rooms, objects, events, other characters, and computer-controlled creatures or non-player characters (NPCs) in a virtual world. Players usually interact with each other and the surroundings by typing commands that resemble a natural language, usually English.
This mud is set in a fantasy medieval world, and players enter the world as a young male or female. From there, it is up to the player. They will be able to join and become part of the everyday operation of cities, villages, and guilds. They can run shops, or craft items to sell in shops. Crafting skills include forging, cooking, woodcraft, alchemy, artistry, tailoring, jewelery, and a lot more. There will be no classes, instead, each player will gain a static set of skills that can be improved via training, and each guild will have their own sets of skills which only guild members may learn.
