We need someone to wrap graphics around our ASP application. VERY, I repeat, VERY detailed requirements will be given to the designer selected.
A few things that are a MUST:
1) MAY 10th, 2004. That is the project deadline. IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT BENDABLE OR BREAKABLE OR FLEXIBLE IN ANY WAY, FORM OR FASHION. The date will be in the contract and the designer must agree to deliver by that date. It is not a hard requirement based on our assessment, with a start date of Monday, April 26th, 2004. It is even padded by a few days to give us a confort cushion. Having said that, please know that if you are selected for this project you absolutely MUST commit to this date.
2) Deadlines. The team developing this project is a very experienced team of software developers. We understand how the software development lifecyle works and what can and cannot be delivered. You will be given VERY specific instructions, and very specific deadlines. You are expected to meet those deadlines, so that project rollout can be smooth and seamless.
3) Samples of previous work. We want someone experienced in graphic design, someone who understands why it is critical for a web-enabled application to load quickly on a 28.8k modem. So, in evaluating your skill sets, we will need to see samples of your past work.
For some preliminary project specs:
Though the application has a lot of front end pages (30-40), a great majority of them will be menu bar, content, footer (or something close to that). So the graphic design work is minimal and very contained. The menu bars will be called as include files, which will really save a lot of work. So once a desirable format is agreed upon for default page and others, the pages should start rolling quickly. I will provide more details to shortlisted programmers once bidding begins.
Thank you for your consideration. We will be selecting someone by Sunday afternoon, US CST. If you open a PMB, please be prepared to communicate. Communication is key to us, and it is key to ensuring smooth project delivery. Please PMB with any questions.
