Need two C++ algorithms implemented for photo modification. Experience in this field is essential, so please apply if you experienced in photo manipulation/correction.
Algorithms should be shown to work in a simple visual c++ 2008 project where i can choose an input image.
1) algorithm to detect and remove excess white found in photos.
2) human eyes see a much broader spectrum then camera's can reproduce. Need an algorithm to take average colour spectrum of the major camera brands, and map this to the human visual spectrum, thus converting the rgb values accordingly.

Cameras cannot reproduce entire rgb spectrum as seen by the human eye, so many camera makes 'add white' to bring all values above zero(the first image on the site shows how some of the rgb values go below zero). We need to remove this.

Need an algorithm to take average colour spectrum of the major camera brands, and map this to the human visual spectrum, thus converting the rgb values accordingly. Frankly, i am trying to copy this:? <[login to view URL]>. You will need to read chapter 1 thoroughly, as this is exactly what i want. I should imagine the work involves obtaining all the spectrums of the most popular camera brands, generating an average spectrum for them all, then comparing this to the human visual spectrum and generate a mapping.
If i am impressed i can pretty much guarentee alot more work.
