Oracle Apex Developer

[login to view URL], owned and operated by start-up financial data provider PT Media Global Indonesia, has an immediate need for part-time or freelance Oracle Application Express (Oracle Apex) Developer. • Candidates must possess excellent to expert skills in Oracle PL/SQL and web application development, with demonstrated Oracle Apex skills. • He/she will be responsible for the development of APEX applications. The focus will be on delivering specific Apex applications for the needs of our clients. Strong experience and development skills are essential to get the Apex application delivered within the given time frame. • The candidate will work in conjunction with business analysts to create solutions to pressing data needs. The candidate will divide his or her time between enhancing the application front end, which is built in APEX, and enhancing back end process. Basic Qualifications: • Oracle Application Express (APEX) version 3.2.x - 4.x (at least 2 years of experience) • Oracle 11g (creating/modifying tables, views, sequences) • Good knowledge of relational database design concepts • Excellent coding and debugging PL/SQL (functions, triggers, procedures) • Constructing and optimizing complex SQL queries to support reporting needs • Analyzing and updating data models (conceptual and logical data models) • Experience designing and manipulating web content dynamically using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS and HTML • Provide documentation of all work including requirements, designs and code • Excellent written and spoken communications skills • Ability to work independently on development projects • Provide training to in house development staff
