Advanced MS Power BI developer is needed to build custom dashboard

Prerequisite requirements Advanced MS Power BI developer is needed. Even better if you are Power BI superstar. • You need to be able to develop custom visual widgets. • Knowledge of Typescript, NodeJS, and LESS is required (It is assumed that you know JavaScript, CSS, and HTML since it is underlying technologies). • Working knowledge of MS SQL is also needed. • Readiness to sign NDA (everything in our relations is super confidential). If you are new to this or don’t have enough experience, please, do not apply for this job. That means show me your previous jobs or portfolio. Nice to have skills and other wishes: • Working knowledge of Schlumberger software (Avocet, Pipesim) is a big plus. Even better If you are former or current Schlumberger employee. • Basic understanding of oil and gas industry is a plus. • Being close to my time zone (no more than 3-4 hours) is a plus. My time zone is +6 GMT • Ability to understand Russian is also nice to have skill. • These requirements are not critical. We can do business together without those things if you are very confident Power BI developer with strong critical thinking skills. I will help you and navigate you through all not so clear or vague software requirements. Current situation: There is the dashboard with approximately 14 widgets with graphs and diagrams. The screenshot of working dashboard prototype is in attached MS Word file. Problem: 1. Our software developers are not friendly with the concepts of aesthetics, colors, etc. It is necessary to draw a professional, modern and beautiful design of this dashboard. 2. They are not very experienced with creating custom widgets. 3. They are too busy with more deeper problem tasks and cannot devote enough time to develop decent quality widgets. Your job: At the deep level all data is fetched from Avocet software which is basically a custom MS SQL database. Our engineers do the linking of database data with Power BI. They use standard widgets from Power BI. Your job is to present their work in a more stylish package according to the design layout (see attached file). Wishes: Do not limit yourself to what you see on the screenshots or in the technical assignment ([login to view URL], I will provide it upon request). Any widgets can be done as you like.
