Write an Android application

Shot Doctor will be an app for Android and iOS that has been designed specifically with sports and professional shooters in mind. It is a multifaceted tool, with a number of innovative features, which have the intended purpose of simplifying a user’s shooting, hunting and general outdoor endeavours. I am looking for a long term partner to develop this app in stages. The expected budget for the app in its entirety is between $20,000 and $50,000 over the next 12 to 18 months as new features and functionality are added. The app will also need an integrated website at some stage through this development that links the end user with the data they enter on their mobile devices. Companies wishing to work with me on the development of this app need to have experience with a number of key technologies, but most of these will not be required for version 1.0 REQUIRED expertise: -Strong understanding of complex mathematics and algorithm development (I have developed a number of proprietary algorithms for certain elements of the app that you will need to be able to integrate at some stage) -Experience utilising phone based data sources (such as inbuilt GPS) as well as experience using external API’s for other data (such as weather forecast services) -Cloud data storage integration -Website development and integration with the data from the app -Social integration for sign-up and sharing -Development of backend analytics to monitor user behaviour, sign-in frequency etc. (I’m sure you probably have some sort of standard analytics you have previously used?) while also being able to send messages etc. out to end users. DESIRED expertise: An understanding, however basic, of what the following items are: -Ballistic coefficient -lateral jump -G1 – G7 and Pejsa drag -vertical angles and gyroscopic drift -Coriolis, Magnus, Poisson and Eotvos Effects -effect of air density/pressure/temperature on projectile flight An interest in firearms Version 1.0 of the app will be designed as a storage device only i.e. a database of data that the end user will enter manually. It will need to have the ability to access cloud data storage and needs to automatically upload any new data entered into a user’s device to the cloud for safe keeping and retrieval across multiple devices and platforms. For example, data entered on an Android based mobile phone, needs to be retrievable on an iPad. Future versions of the app will need to have different levels i.e. a free app, a paid app and a subscription app so please also keep this in mind. Submissions Those wishing to work with me on this app need to provide a written submission detailing your expertise, including other apps that you have worked on that may be of significance to this project. I do not have time write now to enter into Skype discussions / video chats right now. I am looking for a developer with an understanding of best practices for mobile app development, to guide me and offer their professional advice.
